    Just did a quick search ...100 - 180 minimum. And i would guess a lot bigger if it wants to be nice and comfy :) also depends on the shark..

    Thats something cool to watch though! It be cool if you found someone local to sell/trade to so you could see him every once in a while ;)

    yeah im very excited my lfs said they will take him back but there is no guaruntee i will ever see him again, im gonna hold on to him as long as possible though

    i wouldnt try to hold as long as possible, as you have your 55 as a reef and it will quickly amount a ton of biological wastes, nitrate will spiral (along with amm, and nitrite) and corals will be kaput........

    Sorry to hear it man , like I'd love to get an octopus but i know it would never be able to afford the tank or be able to mimic the environment it comes from :( Karma to ya
