+1 to above. Good avice from everyone. Look into smaller fish like gobies, cardinals, chromis wrases, or dwarf angels. Live Aquaria is a great place to start; you could also check out Blue Zoo Aquatics and/or Vivid Aquariums.

Shame on your LFS for giving you bad advice.

now thats a great plan;) much better. I'd rec a black and an orange clown, a bicolor or flame angel, 3 bengaii cardinals(better in a pack) and a awesome flasher wrasse!

Warning dwarf angels will nip corals, probably;) And research your inverts, all are cool, but most have a downfall, just weigh what ya can deal with it. I love urchins, but they can turn into bulldozers. Be wary of CBS, they tend to go rogue;)

Much better choice. I would pick 4-5 of these fish for your tank. In addition, shrimp are usually pretty active depending on the species and are quite fun to watch.

Shrimp are one of my favorite thing to watch in the tank. And it never ceases to amaze me that my cleaner shrimp always gets the same response from people who see my tank for the first time: what the eff is that thing!?! Definitely a conversation piece.

Well here is the plan...Bicolor or flame angel, 3-5 pack of bangii, a cool bottom dwelling goby, a neon goby or two, and lastly the pair of clowns. I'm thinking Picasso blacks. A friend of mine told me lots of small fish is easier on the bioload than one big fish. I had fire shrimp and definitely want to get serpent stars again, I loved those in my last tank.

still quite a bit of fish, i would do an angel, 2 cardinals, 1 goby, and a pair of clowns. 11 fish is just a bit much.

That sounds like a good stocking list to me. I would suggest one neon goby and 3 cardinals to keep your stocking light. Take your time, monitor your params and QT each addition to prevent disease. If you can do that you will set yourself up for long term success.

Defenitely go with a dwarf angel, you have the choice of a few chromis or a few bangaiis, and a bottom or rock dweller, like a goby. A peppermint shrimp would be pretty cool, and maybe a smaller wrasse. You can add more so long as you provide adequate filtration.
