    Hey guys, today i went to the LFS and got a ball of chaeto for 5 bucks.

    I have a UV sterilizer next to the refugium and i was wondering if the light from the UV could damage the Chaeto in any way?

    I also got a copperband butterfly to help with my aipstasia. I will upload pics in a minute.

    the thing is that my UV sterilizer is set up in a different way. I have the bulb outside, so its kinda like having a bulb underwater so it shines away. makes sense?

    that needs a sleeve on it uv light damages the eyes. you should not have that like that. I'm not sure how or what that is but it looks unsafe to me. not just for your algae but for you too
