So I picked up a chalice a couple days ago that has bright green with orange eyes and set it up high in the tank, and being busy I didn't check it until yesterday and probably half of it where it was green is now whitish color- the eyes still look ok but mainly the area between them- I since have moved it lower but am wondering also if my red stripe angel could be picking at it- I'm going to keep an eye on it but wasn't sure if there was a tell tale to bleaching versus picking- I will post a pic later today-

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Kiwiroo,

I would move it down in the tank if you have it right up with your sps. Give some time to acclimate to the lighting and you may be able to move it back up, depending on your lighting.

Most chalices don't demand a lot of light, so move it down to the very bottom until it gets better, and then you can gradually move it up in your tank. Good luck!

Ok will do- I had read a couple sites that said they love hi light, oops- sounds like this is more likely the cause versus nipping which I was hoping-
