    I have the following configuration:
    four 96 watt PC's
    three 250 watt HQI MH's

I always install 50/50 PC's and over the years I tinkered with various color MH's finally settling on 13,000K.

Since I am beginning to rework this system I thought I'd tinker once again with the lighting spectrum. I have just installed all white PC's (10,000K) and 21,000K blue MH's -- I'll post how the corals respond but the immediate knee jerk is a resounding appreciation from the family. Granted they have not burned in yet but thus far the tank has that perfect appearance, crisp with the perfect amount of blue – very pleased. These are Megachrome bulbs, I generlaly use XM most often - I will let you know how these work out for me.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !

    Me too please.

I have never tried MH with pc lighting.

How long is the photoperiod for the MH versus the period for the pc?

    TIA
