It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I would be inclined to research some of the cycle products like Dr.Tims or addition of MB7.

What types of corals and specific types of fish are you moving over?

Would it be possible to drain the 30 gallon of water, slide if over, fill it back up. Place the new large tank where it goes and let it run for a couple days before moving over the live stock.

Myself I would worry about temp differences. How are you going to stabilize the temp in that volume of water in a couple hours?

You will need a quick mixing salt mix as well like Reef Crystals.

Another option might be to rehome your stuff at the LFS or a friends tank for a day or two.

I feel uncomfortable moving fish and other livestock into a tank in such short amount of time. When I have added salt directly to a newly set up tank it has always taken at least 24 hours for the salt to completely mix. I am sure it can be done faster but I would be a little nervous.

Hope someone else chimes in with better options.

Good luck with the move, and congratulations on the upgrade.

About a year ago I moved from a 45gal to a 90 gal. I did it in one day. But I moved everything from the 45 to the 90. First I started with new sand at the bottom. Then took the old sand out of the 45 gal tank and put it on top. This is to help seed the new sand. Then placed the new crushed coral on top then the crushed coral out of the old 45gal tank. Then added in 5 gal of old water and then add 5 gal of new water. Then added old 45gal tank Live Rock then added in 45lbs of new live rock. Then added 5 gal more of old water and 5 gal more of new water. Added most of the old water then added new water to fill the tank. Then added the fish. The fish were in a 5 gal bucket of old water with air stone for about 1 hour during this process.

The tank did do a mini cycle about 1 week after the move.

The 90 gal tank as been setup for over a year now.

    Left to right.
    45 Gal tank before move
    90 Gal tank after move
90 gal after adding more Live Rock
    90 Gal tank today.

cool!! my biggest concern is i'm actually more than doubleing the water.. i would be happy to make all new salt water the day before i move all this but i can't make that much n keep it moveing with a power head. have a few freinds n familey that are going to lend me some storage totes to hold water but i don't have that many powerheads..
