    Hello,
In my 34g tank currently I have two Ocellaris clowns, Randalls Goby, Peppermint Shrimp, Urchin, and a tiny 1 1/2 inch pistol shrimp. My issue is with the Ocellaris clowns and that they may be killers. My past two fish I have added to the tank have died overnight for seemingly no reason what so ever. They ate fine the days before. Lived in the tank for a while. Parameters have been fine it has occurred on nights the clownfish have been stressed (i.e. light change or change in flow)

Is there any cheaper interesting fish that I can use to add to my tank to see if the clownfish are actually killers? I don't want to add a 60 dollar fish just to have it possibly killed in a month.
    Thanks!

If your clowns didn't like a new fish, you'd know it, as they would bully it in broad daylight. They're not nocturnal, and they lack the means to kill except through stress, which usually takes a long time; IOW, they couldn't possibly be killing healthy fish overnight. Maybe one of your shrimp, but not the clowns.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
It has been my (and obviously Mr.Bill's) experience that if a clown is going to get aggressive with a new introduction you can not miss the signs. It happens almost immediately and relentlessly, clowns do not mess around.

    What type of clowns?

What type of fish have you introduced?

    ^What Mr.Bill said.
