I have the coralife, no complaints.... If you have the money I hear that the Remora requires no adjustments but i would not know personally. If your on a budget though, go with the coralife.

    JUNK.

The only Jebo I like is the 520. but you need a sump.

Yes, but I have the older model. Check out my signature and gallery. I DIYed it to accept a Becket for better foam production and cleaning. I know a few others that did that mod or adapted it for a needle wheel. For a smaller tank, it is probably more than sufficient stock.

for the extra money I would buy the coralife. 109 for the 65 on bigals. Good cust service and nice folks. Got a 220 and it is a nice design. Tons better than the $100 prism I had... see, I ended up spending $240 all together... get a decent one right away. Don't waste your money on a jebo - very few people have success with them and they are tough to get replacement parts for. Good luck

That is probably a good and safe call for most people. Needle wheel skimmers are cool and easy to dial in. I agree most Jebo skimmers are junk. I find that the 520 is an exception and a good DIY platform. Remember, I like DIY. The part I like about the 520 is that it has a large reaction chamber and a long contact time. Short of going to a recirculating skimmer it can do a good job once dialed in. The newer version with the adjustable output level looks like a snap to dial in. What I am unsure of is how it operates without being modified with a Becket or needlewheel. I really should have run it for a while just to see, but... Anyway, the built in venturi "looks" pretty good and don't see why it wouldn't produce a healthy amount of foam. BTW, it looks like you are running a sump. If you do go with the Jebo be aware that it has a pretty big footprint d/t the diameter of the reaction chamber and the pump. I'm guessing you will need 8x14" or so at a minimum. I think the Corallife has a smaller footprint.
