When using Chemi-pure, can it cause your skimmer to act up? I noticed after I placed my bag of Chemi-pure in my Aqua Clear 50 PF, My skimmer started producing millions of micro bubbles into my tank.

    Thanks in advance.

yes it will. it will take a day or two and then you'll notice it gets better.. did you rinse it like the instructions say?

yes, i rinsed it out just like it said to do before use. Should I rinse it again then put it back?

Hello, if your skimmer is in the sump then it isn't so much the Chemi-pure itself, meaning, the chemistry of it but rather the new water tension and changed water level.

I am running a CPR bak pak with BBX. The weird thing is, Before I added my chemi pure into my Aqua clear (2 days ago), the bag of chemi pure was in my emperor 400 power filter which was running in there for 2 weeks. It's only when I moved the bag from my emp. to my AC, was when i started noticing the bubbles.

Since it wasn't doing this with my emperor, could it be becuause it wasn't getting enough flow from it?

That is possible, if your AC has two chambers like the 400 try it in different chambers or adding a diffuser sponge if possible.

    thanks.

what i'll do is leave it in my AC with the sponge it came with and see if it will correct itself eventually.
