I'm making an end of summer 4 day trip to Chicago and wondered if anyone had any advice on things to see and do there? I've been there a couple of times. I plan on visiting the aquarium (of course) and eating some deep dish pizza at Gino's. I'm going with my youngest son and he wants to do his "own" thing so I'll have lots of opportunity to shop and do "my own" thing too. Just wondering if there are any cool hobby related sites I should check out or activities people would recommend.

+1 I went to Chinatown in Chicago and I had a great time. I would also visit the Willis Tower. They have a glass box that you can stand in that sticks out near the top of the building, so you can look straight down to the street.

Wiener's Circle? Is the Old Town aquarium the main aquarium or are there 2 aquariums there?

Chicago has the biggest variety of authentic International food /restaurants in United States:)
Uptown is a place to start, West side Italian ,Polish and German. South side Chicago Is own by Irish.... Near downtown Mexican/Spanish restaurants
Downtown Chicago You can find Several good restaurants and very happy After-hours entertainment. Chicago is a wonderful town:)
Greektown can offered you the best Greek food in the world-Is near downtown:)
Between Central Avenue and Belmont Avenue Is the place: central gyro. That was the first restaurant Were owner created First gyro sandwiches, He also create well-known equipment to make gyro..
Don't forget Chicago aquarium (Expect two Hours waiting time On weekends) You can purchase Chicago entertainment book Book is little pricey but you got a great amount of coupons and you can save a lot of money... And you can find Many small restaurants....
