    Thanks Will.

Yes, the fan is controlled through my ReefAngel controller to kick on automatically when the temp hits 77.9, and shut off at 77.7. Since I didn't change the program from when I had my 180 running (who is thinking about cooling their tank in Jan. w/ LED's LOL) it will also come on when my lights turn on (which is why it has held a constant 77.7 instead of popping up to 77.9 and coming back down to 77.7 lol). Regardless the highest I anticipate the temp going w/o turning the home AC on will be 78 or so as the same size fan held my 180 pretty steady even when I ran it at 75.5.

That's cool, I was going to ask what you did to get it to turn on but a controller makes sense. It is getting to that time where fans and chillers are necessary if you have cooling issues. Yea January and LEDs = no cooling issues.

Is that a gorgonian in the mid right of the tank? I did see some visible growth with that. The rest are doing good and I see the additions in the different pics. I like FTS growth shots.

Yeah I really like the controller, pretty simple but keeps things in check, turns on/off equipment and monitors temp and ph. I don't think I will run a tank without one again really.

Yeah that gorgonian has really grown over the months, quite a few new sprouts as well...... I plan on removing it eventually tho. It was one of my 1st corals so it has a little sentimental value I guess, but I will eventually go 100% SPS, or atleast a bit closer. I haven't decided for sure if I want to get rid of the couple rics I have or not yet, but most likely they will go as well.

Well before you get rid of it 2day a clipping to me and I'll preserve it and call'ed it my "Chris's Gorgonian" it will be placed next to my ORA Grub's and leopard wrasse and basslets will rejoice!

In all seriousness, I think the gorg makes your tank a little more dynamic, the branches flowing in the current give a stark contrast to the rigidity of the acros as they grow into larger colonies.

If you want a piece for real I am sure that could be arranged. I've never shipped anything, but gotta start somewhere right? LOL Its really not a bad piece, I just have some other plans for this system and future that don't really make a ton of sense to keep it, and take up valuable space ;) I do agree tho, it is a nice contrast from the acros.

Today I picked up a few corals from a friend that weren't doing to well, he was going to sell them off but being that his parameters are good, his fish and inverts are all doing fine I didn't want him to do something he may quickly regret so I offered to hold them and attempt to nurse them back to their previous beauty while he tries to find the issue and get back on track.... Anyways here is a FTS today after the additions:

Since I had the camera out I decided to take some other random shots, comparable shots from previous pics to compare growth.... although I don't really feel like going through finding the previous shots and doing a true comparison right now........ LOL

Well I did some comparison for myself and there has been some decent growth. At least I think. I really like your tank. They all look great! I like pictures.
I am trying at least to go in that direction. I want a more sps dominated tank. Right now I have 3 or 4 sps and just can't get enough. I like looking at your because its more in the direction I want to go. Yea ill still have some softies and Lps but I want more sps. Keep it up Chris. Looks great!
