    Hey all,

I only have 1 hydor 3 in my bare bottom 40 breeder. I know this is not enough circulation to keep the live rock from accumulating waste; however, I noticed that my candy cane (purple/white/green) which is one of my favorites does not like being hit with high flow and that my zoas seem to get blasted rough when in a high circulation area. If I get one more 3 will this be too much or will my corals get used to it? I don't want to stress anything but I want to keep my rocks clean. What should I do?

You just need to adjust the pump so it is not blasting your corals with flow. 800gph is good for a tank that size with LPS and softies. I would suggest you go down to 2 nano 425s.

your zoas will adjust to super high flow....they will be ok. just make sure your ph isn't pointed at you corals. BTW I have some softies (kenya tree, mushrooms, xenia and green star polyps) in my 120 with 2 x koralia 4's and 2 x koralia 3's. you are ok
