    Would two sand sifting starfish be to much? for a 55gal

    I would stay away from the starfish. They will eat everything in your sand bed (thats bad) and then starve to death when there is nothing left (worse). There are much better ways to keep your sand bed clear with animals that won't kill your system then die. Snails, hermits etc……
