Okay I am 90% sure that my cleaner shrimps are breeding, this is the second batch of fry I have seen from them, the last time was about a month ago. A few hours after my lights went off, I did my daily routine and went to check out the tank for night creatures because that's on of my favorite times to look at my tank. Last night, I discovered a long THIN(almost like string thin) with lots of small legs and it was about 2 inches long and roaming my tank. Today I was looking carefully and saw hundreds of small tiny clear shrimps (bigger than pods, I know pods resemble the same shape as what I am seeing). I do have lots of pods because I have a cultured refugium for my mandarin dragonette but this is definitely fry of the cleaner shrimp i'm seeing.. any suggestions? Usually all the fry disappear by the second day when the lights come on because I my clowns and hippo tang just go nuts.
I sort of wonder if i should toss the cleaner shrimps into my 40G which is empty right now after I did my transfer from my 40 to my 75 just a few days ago.. but the tank I just added 50% newly mixed salt water because half of that tower went into my 75.

yeah, if u wanna try to raise them and maybe pick up some cyclops/cyclopeeze or whatever that really small frozen stuff is to feed them. Good luck, not sure if they will survive though.

To raise them will be very involved and so far success is not that great. Unless you are really interested in breeding, just consider it free fish/coral food.
