The last couple of days i have noticed my candy cane coral shrivelled up and not opening,. sitting there scratching my head gazeing into the tank for half hour, i suddenly noticed my clownfish move up to it and start forceing itself into its crevices/tentacles, and nibbleing on it, never seen the clown do this before, and i bought it tank raised, so don't think it's trying to host, any other explanations?

    Cheers...

    What he said.

This whole picture of clowns treating a host with TLC...Not so much, they tend to beat the snot out of whatever they choose.

You can't change an animals instinctual behavior by raising it in a tank/cage :)
