    I was told my goby was a green clown goby, but all the photos I've seen of these guys look nothing like my little fish.

    He's a very dark army green, with these tiny electric blue lines around his face and topline (sorry I don't know the fish version of topline - I have dogs, LOL).

    Is this a green clown goby?

    not sure what species that is but nice fish...I have been thinking about getting a couple clown gobies for my 46 bowfront

    Thanks, I really like these little guys. They are very entertaining...

    I found a pic in the photo gallery of a clown goby that Jason posted. Mine looks just like that only he is a dark green:

    I think you're right. He's a Citron - an army green Citron - but a Citron!

    I really like clown gobies. They are funny little fish.

    Definitely!! I have 4 yellows in my 65 because they were sent to me by accident from reefstogo.com. I wasn't gonna ship them back and they told me to keep them free of charge so along with the green I have 5 total and they are definitely a cool fish!!

    According to LiveAquaria, anywhere from 1.5 inches (yellow, black, brown, green clown gobies) to 2 inches (citron clown gobies).

    The citrons have larger heads than the regular clown gobies too.
