    OK so my clown now looks super anorexic and is breathing heavily and will not shut his mouth. It stays open but he is swimming around the tank now and he still will not eat. He is tank raised so he should not have a parasite I would think but does anyone recommend a fresh water dip or would that just put him over the edge?

    I am so sorry to hear that. Hind site 20/20 maybe he should have gone back to the LFS. I was praying he was going to eat! Sorry for your loss. Hope the next one does better!

    Thanks for the consoling words. I thought about bringing him back but I just didn't want to give up on him. I tried with all my power but it wasn't meant to be. Odds are in my favor for the next one to do just fine.

    that sux :( sorry to here about your loss, i would recommend a true percula next time around, if ive been hearing correctly they have a slightly better survival rate and have a longer lived life in captivity.
