Clownfish and anemone

    I have a BTA and it is quit big(about3 inches around) and I have tow ocillers clowns and they dont seem to be going into the anemone. BTW the anemne has been in the tank for 2 days.

    My " nemo " took 2-3 weeks before it went into his new LTA. Give it some more time.

    Trust me, a BTA "(about3 inches around)" is not big...is still a baby yet.

    Mine started out that way...but look at the monster it has grown into!

    Once clowns start hosting, whatever you do, do not target feed the anem, the fish will take care of it.

    You do not need to worry, I would be amazed if those little fish figured out that their anemone is a great home. My guys took about 2 weeks. Do you know if they were tank raised/born or wild caught? If they were born in captivity, it might take a bit longer...heck maybe showing them a video of other clownfish in their anemone might help.

    They are wild cought ocilleris clowns. I herd that ocillers dont like BTA.
