    Hi Everyone.

I recently posted a thread for advice on switching out some of my livetock between my two tanks. After small consideration it was completed and now everything is amazing.

I am having a hard time with my Clarkii Clownfish. I have a RBTA and my Clarkii hosting together just fine but he is very aggressive which is the reason I moved out my larger fishes, to prevent aggresion in my 55G reef.

I would love to keep him, possibly move it to my 100G aggressive tank where his old tankmates are now (V. Lionfish, Angler, Picasso Trigger, Snowflake Eel). I would love some False Percula Clowns, but Clarkii is holding me back.

So first question would be is it mean of me to remove him from the 55G and from his RBTA to place his in my other tank? My 100G is 5'x18"x24"deep with 106w 2-bulb T5 lights which won't support an Anemone sadly...

So basically what I am asking is either:

    1. Keep everything as is...

    2. Try out some False P. Clownfish with Clarkii

    3. Get Another Anemone and some False P. Clowns with Clarkii and his RBTA in same tank

    4. Remove Clarkii and place in alternate tank

    5. Take a chance with 106w of T5 Lighting in 100G and move Clarkii and RBTA to alternate tank.

    Thanks,
    -Derrick

The clown will be okay. My clowns were using a big clump of green hair algae as a host, and when that died I was really worried about them. But they don't seem to have any recollection of that algae clump. So your clown will be okay!

Think about it this way. The clown is hosting the anemone because its instincts are telling it to. He doesn’t have any love, or attachment to it.

sheesh... I wish it was that easy. Those little fish hide real fast in my 55G with 75lbs of rock.

So is it safe to say that my whole whopping 106w light wont support a Rose Bubble Tip Anemone in my 100G safely? Only reason I am asking is because my RBTA right now hides from the 216w light all day as of now. Maybe it is possible?

#2 might be possible too right? Do you think size would make a diffrence? meaning if you where to find a couple false perks that where big enough to stand up to Clarki?
