I'm having trouble with my Clownfish. Short story: one has died from not eating, the other appears to be going down the same road.

They were my first fish, and were healthy for months. I think there was some dominance struggle between them. I bought them almost exactly the same size. They both hosted my Magnificent anemone in just one day, and appeared to be very happy. Now a couple weeks ago, the now smaller one (male I presume), left the anemone and spent two weeks sulking in the corner of the tank not eating until she died. The other more aggressive one seemed fine until the first one died. Now the dominant one is staying in the anemone and not coming out to eat. Color is fading and starting to loose body weight. Any ideas what could be happening? All other fish are fine, and water parameters have always been perfect.

im not sure what could be happening but you have to try to get them to eat if you can. exhaust all options. do u feed with garlic additives, if not try it. sorry i dont really know what else. how are the other fish?

What are you feeding them and how often? Have you tried garlic soaked artemia or mysis?

I feed a mix of mysis, rod's food, another frozen cube mix w/spirulina
and algae for my Angels, and pellet. I tried garlic soak and target feeding too with no success. They both used to be ferocious eaters.

Yes I've tried presoaking the food in garlic juice and target feeding.

Try target feeding Cyclopeeze. When my anthias wouldn't eat, that's the only thing that got her eating again. I use the flakes, but I think the frozen is supposed to be the best.
