I have a 220gal saltwater tank and everything is doing great except for my clown-fish. I bought a bubble tip anemone first knowing that I was going to get a couple of clown fish later. The anemone took to the tank extremely well and is growing into a massive anemone so I decided it would be a good time to get the clown fish. I put the clown fish in and they won't go near the darn thing, they live in the opposite side of the tank in the ghetto. I can't get them to move into their mansion. I have no idea what to do. Is there anyway to get them to move into their home or am I just out of luck and need new clown fish?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Technically in such a large tank you could do multiple pairs.

If it were my tank I would look for a small pair of designer clowns and see who takes to the anemone first.

You can always try the picture method first. Tape a large image of clown fish residing in an anemone to the side of the tank for a couple days. Sound odd but it seems to work well in some cases.

    Good luck to you

Took my clowns over a year to be hosted by the elegance coral. It was only when I introduced a second pair to the tank that showed interest in the elegance that got my old ones to chase them out and take over the elegance.

Ive heard of putting a picture next to the tank like coralline said. What about playing a video of clowns hosting next to the tank?

haha tape an ipad to the tank and have a replay play over and over... lol

I agree with coralline, try some another pair, your tank is large enough where if theres any aggression, they can escape.
