    Hi all,
I was wondering if yall could tell me what kind of clownfish I have. I have had them for around 6 months now maybe longer, im not sure, but anyways I cant remember what kind they are. I think they might be Ocellaris.

And another quetion, im pretty sure they are a mated pair as they stay together all the time and one is bigger than the other. At what age/size do they start laying eggs at?
Here are some pictures that are a month or so old.

Clown fish pair up and then one becomes the female and grows larger than the other – rather interesting if you ask me. They can begin to breed quickly after there is a female, will they? Probably not, but you never know. Generally the eggs are eaten in your reef before you even know they were laid. I am sure you have seen snail eggs on your glass – and a few hours later they are gone…..fish food.

I think they are Misbar Ocellaris. Can you count the number of spines in the dorsal fin? That's the sure way to tell. Ocellaris clowns have 11 dorsal spines and Perculas have 9-10.
