Just curious what some peoples thoughts are on this.I was wondering if there was any truth in it or just another $100 scam.

Nothing from them is a scam. Fins Reef would not even touch it if it were a scam. Brian and Co at Fins Reef are highly respected in the industry. Brian is also H&S USA.

I don't think it's a scam, but if you have adequate circulation and airation, I don't think it will do that much for your tank. It may help a little, but I don't think I would buy it for $100.

Most people don't have issues with CO2 build up unless they live in an area where the house is closed up all the time (too cold = heater ... too hot = AC). I have no CO2 issues 99% of the time so such a product in my case isn't useful. I suspect those that do run a heater 6 months out of the year and a AC the rest it would be a useful product.

the CO2 problem is why i dont use a reactor, the liquid dosing system using calcium hydroxide and soda ash has the same effect as soda lime then when using a fuge the O2 levels are high enough to stabilize pH.

mine stays steady at 8.4 on my 150. I don't think I would use a cr on a system much smaller.
