    Peredhil doesn't know very much about mainstream sports. So I have no real preferences or anything.

    But the family I am married into is really big into Notre Dame Football. (and Cubs baseball) Lots of ND graduates in the family. So I end up going to a lot of ND games. They're fun... I tend to root for the opposing team just to play w/the family. I often end up booing or cheering for the wrong thing though ::)


    Which led to them making me the gopher beer boy (dang inlaws). This stopped once they realized I was taking their money and getting tanked in the hallway! (ND police guys are kind of meenies).

    Going to the ND game in San Antonio this month. No idea who they're playing.


    My little claim to NFL fame is David Givens. We played together as kids and then he worked in the family business before going off to ND. He still comes around occasionally for the family parties. NFL championship rings are pretty gawdy! And shiny.

    OK, that's my little sport comments... I don't understand most of this thread so I'll let ya'll get back to it ;)
