Are there any other very active swimming fish that are compatible with a Clown tang in a 4ft tank? Only other fish are 2 nemo's :) a lawnmower blenny, sleeper head goby, yellow watch man goby. 75 gal tank

The clown tang will be the ruler of the tank... So as long as the new guy doesn't challenge the clown tang there shouldn't be any problems

lol – I just ready Dingo’s response and realize it is a “clown tang” – all I read was clown and was wondering why someone would post this question ! silly old man here…

My clown tang does not rule my tank in the least, he hides mostly and gets along very well with my. Powder blue, cole and yellow tang. This is in a 6 foot tank with plenty of rock to hide in and room to swim around. My tank bully is a tomato clown, but everyone knows to steer clear of him corner. The clown tang is so beautiful and a wonderful tank addition, Just introduce your new fish with lights out going forward and all will more than likely be fine.

My Clown Tang used to be the smallest fish in the tank. He was a model citizen, but he grew very fast and became the most aggressive fish in the tank. I had to take him out because he started to attack my Blueline Trigger. He is doing surprisingly well in his new home with the big Queen Trigger. No issues at all. :p

Yep, that was my experience, although my Clown Tang is in an aggressive tank, and I had a place to re-home him.

Personally, I wouldn't house one in a 75, but if you already have one, be aware that they have the potential to become extremely aggressive.
