The prettiest fish? Absolutely not. But ugly? Not IMO.This fish can become almost black when mature which makes the tail (which becomes a blueish color) and the orange highlights on its fins really pop.It also has cool greenish stripes on its pelvic fins which you can kinda see in my picture. I love Jeeves and he gets along just great with my other fish which is always a bonus.I personally would not do a larger Tang then this in a 90 but I am special.;)

Heres another that may be more up your alley.A little bigger then the Tomini but not much.;)

As far as Barnacle Blennies go while they do not swim around the tank they do dash out to snatch food (Like lightning) and there little heads are always visible. As long as you keep their barnacles facing the front of the tank they are always visible and a great addition to any tank. Herbie is too cool for school and the kids just love him.(Probably because he looks like a muppet) This particular Blenny is called a Hancock Blenny and they are found around Costa Rica. They are not easy to find but it can be done. You can also put several in the tank together provided you have enough Barnacles for them all.;)

Thanks Cosmo! I almost forgot.I would NOT add a Mandarin to a tank with the Melanurus present as the Wrasse IMO will decimate the pods almost as fast as a Mandarin.

This tank is sps dominant right?

Then I recommend two to three tangs and a wrasse or two. Feed them well but make sure you have a large enough skimmer :)
