Hi everyone! I am brand new to saltwater fish, but I've had freshwater for years. I'm hoping to get some help and info on this forum because I am brand new, and literally starting from scratch. I live with my husband and 7 month old son in Spotsylvania Va, on a tiny farmette (chickens and geese). We also have 6 dogs, 2 cats, a couple of parrots, I breed Fife Canaries, and currently have 3 running freshwater tanks (one of which I'm hoping to convert to a reef tank).

    Welcome to 3reef, GracieNut.

Boy you are a busy women. We really like images here, they do not have to be of salt water tanks.

    Hello and welcome to 3reef.

Cool to see you have chickens and geese.
I have 3 chickens, 4 ducks and a goose plus a cat and the roommate has a dog.
Did have a garden but the flock got to it :(
I call my little urban farm, "Penny Acre Farm".

I'd convert your largest FW tank to SW since we all tend to move up in system size rather than down.
Good luck, can't wait to see some pictures.
