If that's a 45 (liters), then I'm assuming it's only about 13.6 gallons. 24 watt may not be enough for much, and I'm guessing it's some type of flourescent fixture. Email the seller for details on the lighting.

Oh yeh - thanks for pointing that out thats a little bigger then what i wanted. Im just thinking something nice and small for an anemone

    how bout this

NANO TANK/FISH TANK/FISHTANK 4 MARINE/REEF/AQUARIUM on eBay, also Aquariums Bowls Tanks, Fish, Pet Supplies, Home Garden (end time 28-Jul-08 22:48:02 BST)

but i have never heard of PL so i think you may be right, and its just some sort of flourescent not capable of maintianing and anemone, but i have seen some very small T5 light fixtures quite cheap on ebay

What kind of anemone? Might be a kinda small tank for most anemones, but has probably been done many times before anyway and remember the anemone will do better in an established tank. You gonna skim too or just do water changes? One of those hanging lower watt MH lamps might do better over that tank.

oh no i hate skimmin! i was thinking a small BTA with a nice little clown!
Plus i would totally cheat the system, i.e. use water and sand and filter material from my main tank which is more then established.
I've done this in the past and voila, instiano cyclianos!

Cheers for your input tho, i didnt think the lights would be enough.
