Well since my lighthouse controller is pretty much exposed on the back side , I decided to make an acrylic enclosure to protect it. Its still a work in progress but you get the idea.

Still need to do the top part that seals it ::).

Nice work buddy. What glue did you use with the acrylic? Luna

Thanks for comments! Glue used was weld-on 4. I made a small acrylic float holder earlier, but this is the first time working with a bigger piece. I think its coming out good considering me and my dad have never done this stuff before, though we have some woodworking skills so that helps.

Make sure you put that unit on a surge protector because KOgle just had his bite the dust from unplugging a pump and getting a spike in current. The company that makes LightHouse says to make sure it is on a surge protector and battery back up if you have one. I run my ACIII Pro off a APC computer backup.

Ok, thanks Otty. I will put in on a surge (when you say surge ,you mean connect the actual power transformer of the controller to a surge device or connect the actual power strip to a surge?). Ill take a look at the backups.

    Thanks

I would do both and make them on separate units.

Make sure you put air ventilation in the case too, you don't want it to overheat. Good job! :)

Yeah, I was thinking about that but got to see if the controller puts out any heat.
