i have a few questions...i have an opportunity to buy a reefkeeper elite with 4 pc4's, a sl1, a sl2, ph, temp, and orp probes and all the cords for 250$... now i would also be buying the net package for around 120$...ok so im in that reefkeeper for around 370$... with the iphone app of the RK, heres my ???? Will i be able to CONTROL my tank from my iphone..or just monitor...

the next choice is the reefangel, with the wifi attachment, for around $340, that comes with the unit, pc8, wifi attachment, ph probe, temp probe, and 2 float switches... also i know i can CONTROL my tank with my iphone when im out of town for business.. and its open source so i can do anything... and ill prolly add the dosing pumps for an extra 90$... so for 430$ i can have an iphone controlled controller with dosing pumps...really dont mind dishing the extra 60$ for the reef angel with everything i can get out it...

what would you all do... really dont know what i would do with 16 plugs on the reefkeeper, but i can also monitor salinity... mainly i dont wanna get the reefkeeper if I cant control my tank from my iphone, does me no good to see my tank failing if i cant control/fix it from my phone... also with the RK i will have to buy dosing pumps..

    need some advice forum

I can't say much about the reefkeeper elite, but I have the reef angel, and I love it! I have a pretty simple nano tank that probably doesn't even really need the controller, but I still like being able to program it to work however I want.

Edit: I don't yet have the wifi attachment so I can't talk to that extent of things. But the tools I have looked at that are available look nice once I do :)

Ya, they are a lot of help. I ended up doing some weird stuff with mine that a might not have been possible with out me being able to code it how I wanted. You won't be disappointed!

Keep us updated.. I am looking fora controller, and tryin to decide between the apex and the reef angel. Reef angel seems nice for the money for sure.
