Controllers and temperature probes

    Anyone have controller for there tank? If so were have you found beside not putting beside the heater. Now a good and bad place for the probes readings?

    Your heater needs to be downstream of the temperature probe; ideally in a latter sump chamber.

    I have two probes, one downstream of the heater just before the return pump, and the second (the one that controls the temp) is in the overflow box. They are never more than .4 off from each other, and usually match or .2 off.
