There were a few of these on my front glass this morning. I just swiped them off with my mag float thinking it was just something growing on there. After doing a water change there were a few more on the front glass. Is it some type of pod ?

Yes they can. Only an issue in very large numbers which will seldom happen. I had them in my tank when it was cycling. They go away.

Hopefully that won't happen then. Is it a sting that I would be able to feel or only enough to cause a problem to corals ?
