I'm treating some fish with cupramine and is it normal for a fish to lose their appetite? My bicolor angel only are a couple pieces of mysis in the last week and I feel like the others aren't eating with as much spunk as they usually would. I know angels don't tolerate copper as well, but she's doing great, just not eating at all. I have to do copper at least until the 15th (three weeks), is three weeks enough? I hope when I remove the copper the fish's appetite come back. I'm kinda nervous.

    Thanks!

Also, I have a fish that never showed any signs of ich until a week into cupramine. He has since had one spot(and only one) on his side fin (not sure of the name). It's been there a week and it should have dropped off by now. Could that one spot be ich, or just sand?

Is it possible for a piece of sand to be stuck to a fin for a week?

There are a few threads recently that miss diagnosed Ich for Lymphocyctis, I suggest you read the most current Ich threads.

Oh god, signs do seem to point to lymphocytis. There is such little info on it online, it should go away on its own though, right? Fingers crossed that it doesnt spread on the fish. How long does it take to go away?

That is variable on the fish. Typically in a tank with low stress levels and proper nutrition the disease should be self limiting and resolve without intervention.

Thanks, I found a few old threads on it and all seemed to resolve just as you said. Hopefully I'll be the same. The fish is fine, I almost can't even see the spot. Thanks for your help!
