If you start off on the right foot and feed with nutrient packed food and vary his diet Im sure you wont have any problems. A food soak like zoe or garlic couldnt hurt either. I feed my fish with zoe soaked food and they love it. So do the corals.

Well he is acclimated and in the tank, he's acting pretty strange so i am keeping the lights off, hopefully he is just getting used to his tank mates and the new crib, he will be the highlight of my tank! He is a good size about 3 in from what i read that is the best size to get for a better chance! i havent fed yet mainly because i want him to calm down a little bit before i feed. pictures will come probably tomorrow night on the new add!! IM STOKED!

Yes! He seems to be adjusting well, he's grazing on the rocks almost all day, all of his tank mates seem to get along with him quite well, he's the boss of the tank :D just have to figure out his eating situation!

Yea i saw it and was just amazed! the picture doesnt do the justice on it, im very happy with him so far! i just need to entice him to eat more food, i upped my feedings to 2 times a day, about 30ml of a mixture of foods, and garlic/entice he shows interest in the food i feed but doesnt really eat alot of it, he attacks a lot but spits about half out, i may be resorting to live foods to see if he will tackle that!

I have no idea what happened. He was eating great for a month. Then he stopped eating one day 3 days later he passed on. The only thing I could think of was winter is setting in and the house is a little cooler. The tank dropped 2 degrees over night. The next day he stoped eating. I have since bought another heater to help with the cold nights. He was an amazing fish.

Congrats, it's good to see a pic up! I've been keeping an eye on this thread cause I love the Copperband and want to see how it goes for you. There was actually just one at my LFS today that I had to pass up because he was showing interest in the food, but not eating and I didn't want to take a chance with him. Best of luck with yours and I'll still be searching for mine :)
