My LFS has a Coral Beauty that I would like to buy but every time I ask the guy he tells me its a hard fish to take care of. Does anyone know of any truth to this. Also what would be a nice fish good size that will go in a 29 gallon tank with my Yellow Tang ???

I had a coral beauty and he really wasn't hard to take care of (died while I was on vacation for a week and a half and was healthy to that point so I don't know what happened -- neighbors fed the fish and added water). My only concern with a 29 gallon tank and a yellow tang would be the amount of room for a couple of medium sized fish, but that may just be me. Other than that my coral beauty was a good eater and up to that point healthy and happy.

I would like to add one more fish just not sure what would go nice in there with my Tang. For some reason my Tang stays behind the rock when he sees anyone he swims back there were he cant be seen is this normal??

I agree, 29 is way to small for a tang. I have one and I have a 90gal and sometimes I think my tank is too small. If you can go buy Marine Fishes by Scott W. Micheal, that will help you make an educated choice of fishes that you can buy under your circumstances. Hope this helps, Luna

just because someone has an opinion doesnt mean its right. look at the problems he is having at the lfs giving wrong information. researching scientific data regarding this hobby is a must, we all know that. wasnt rude, just real. but ill reword it for you if it bothers you that much.
