    with rics and shrooms

a technique explained to me by a lady in the business and an ex sponsor

    was as follows
place the shroom or fragment of shroom into a plastic tub, with pieces of live rock rubble in it
leave it in an area of low flow
the shroom will attach itself to the rock, rubble

    or

using bridal veil, place the shroom on a peice of rock, or frag disc/ tile/ plug wrap over lightly with the veil
leave it for 14 days, then remove veil and shroom will have attached to rock

I have tried the 1st, and found it worked exactly as she described

not tried the second with shrooms - but have used the veil/ mesh over leather fragments to hold them gently to rocks , and that worked for me . so I have no doubt it would work for shrooms

what works best for mushrooms and rics is what steve said. I've done the rubble method before and then after the coral has attached to a small piece of rock, I glue it to the final place where I want it. Otherwise the base gets very slippery and gooey and glue won't do much
