Where are the best places in the tank for frogspawn, button coral & blue mushrooms ? ( bottom. mid range, top, lots of current, less current, etc. )

It depends upon your lighting and your flow in the tank. I could say midrange for lighting and flow, but if you have a lot of flow or really powerful lighting, then that wouldn't be good advice.

with t5/pcs, I put mine in the middle height of the tank and lowest flow I can find. you'll know if the flow is too much when it doesnt full expand. if you think your flow might be to much, unplug your powerheads for a couple hours and see how the coral reacts. if it looking bigger than with prior flow, then make adjustments with placement of piece.

I only have T5 and my mushrooms do better near the bottom with mid flow. can't say for your other corals though.

I have my frogspawn in the sand and it's doing great! However, I have very strong lighting.
