How can you tell if your ricordia are splitting? I have tried my hardest to find a good website on corals and info about them but I always get online stores, does anyone have a good link?

Usually, the ricordia polyp will develop another mouth before it splits. That being said, I have had double mouthed ricordias for a long time and never saw them split. These corals are very slow growers.

Well The Reason I Am Asking Is Because One Of The Rics Looks Like There Is A Stretching/tearing In An Area And I Wanted To Know If That Meant It Is Damaged Or It's Starting To Split.

Well I'm Gonna Pickup A Timer This Weekend And Start Them Later So I Have More Viewing Time When I Get Home. Can You Feed Them When The Lights Are Off? I Usually Feed Them 1/2 Hr After Lights On And Then At Dinner Time But If My Lights Come On Arounf 11am I'm Not Home To Feed So What Do You Do?

Well, I don't feed ricordia but if you feel the need to, I would do it when the lights are on as they tend to shrivel up when the lights are off. Personally, I think that you're headed for trouble feeding your tank and corals as much as you do.
