Get the 24 minimum, but I'd suggest the 36 with blues, whites, and a few cyan and violets to boot! Also make sure you upgrade the drivers to meanwell, maxwell drivers suck. Then look into the boostled.com typhoon controller. IMO

What types of SPS and Clams could I grow with the 24 LED fixture?

 

honestly, probably most anything if you put them in the right spots. I may not do a maxima though, but a derasa or crocea should be fine, IMO
