    i set up my new 55g reef aquarium today an the cpr aeroforce2 skimmer is giving me a tough time , would greatly appreciate any setting up tips or advice on this piece of equipment

    Can you describe the type of issues you are having?

    1) no skimmate or cup fills up with clear liquid ? those are pretty normal with new skimmers , oils, residues on the plastics tend to do either of these things , but after a couple of days they start to behave normally

    2) micro bubbles covering your aquarium ? again this is normal with a new skimmer, although a simple modification with some foam or filter wool in the outlet side of the skimmer to intercept the bubbles before they enter the aquarium, is how I solved that issue with my Reef Octopus HOB

    3) other?
