Crab only tank?

So found a fluval edge 12gal with led light on CL for $50.

Was thinking about doing a crab only tank. Maybe some corals, live rock. Maybe an anemone.

Any thoughts? What crabs get along and would be cool in a little tank like this?

Probably a dream that will never happen but something fun to plan out! lol

I want like, cool not every day crabs, like maybe pom pom crabs, or anemone crabs, or a decorator crab.

 

Sally Lightfoot crabs are very active and interesting and should do well in that setting. They just can't be trusted around fish or other crustaceans.

EDIT: You posted while I was typing... The Porcelain crab is an anemone crab; the three you mentioned should do well together.

 

What about a sally with them? Would they fight with a coral banded shrimp?

 

I wouldn't trust a SL with anything that moves... I've had them before, and too many fish, crabs and shrimp mysteriously vanished while they were in the tank. However, they never bothered with corals or sessile inverts.

As for the Coral Banded Shrimp, they've also been known to kill other shrimp as well as some crabs.

 

A shrimp kill a crab? Jeeze! I mean a mantis shrimp i could understand, but a banded? yikes.

 

When you get it running ill send you my cb shrimp for free lol I need that ahole outa my tank lol hes a grumpy sob. Trys to catch anything the gets close.
