LOL, sometimes it does just seem like your tank is completely against anything you're trying to do, huh?

I know my tank plots against me sometimes. I like to wake up in the middle of the night and try to catch them... Just kidding but, in all seriousness do you think he would do it till he pops? Or maybe just let him have a few pieces so he leaves you alone? :p

well I got him finally. hardy little bastard survived in fresh water over two hours. I was going to return him to the LFS but they closed and he decided his salt water habitat wasn't good enough so after chasing him around the tank and getting stung by the fox face twice I had it.....sorry guys but I didn't take a picture and I upset PETA on this one.

In other news, wife wanted two chromis and one is now dead. ***? This tank eats fish.

I would scope out the tank at night for some sort predator some even come out in the day though. Maybe an hitchiker in some live rock. You never know what could be in those live rocks. You could have a mantis shrimp or something in there.

    Just a thought.

no shrimp. I have taken every rock out and turned it over and scrubbed. I'm guessing this chromis died from shock? two days and he didn't eat but his brother did. The Gramma wasn't too impressed with him either but today I noticed like he was gasping for air as if he had ich. No one else is showing signs.

How big is your foxface? how many fish in the tank? Could be stress related to not being able to find a place to rest. All fish need their own place in a tank, and new fish get chased. A mature foxface can claim an entire 65g tank. Even though its primarly a herbivore.

he's about 3 inches. I wondered about him but have reservations about the flamehawk. I want shrimp again but the bastard wont let me, he ate the previous two. I've never seen the fox face show aggression. he stung me because he was hiding right near the crab
