crabs in acros

    recently removed 2 green/brown fuzzy ones from seperate SPS corals
    I noticed they never moved much, and the area they stayed appeared white
    so I assume they are either eating the flesh or just preventing any light getting there causing localised bleaching - either way they had to go

    I used Coral RX and it does make them groggy/ slugish, but does not always get them to vacate the coral IME
    a toothpick carefully used to direct the crab out of the main array of branches, followed by a flicking motion to send it into the waiting bucket, did the trick

    they both now reside in my test tanks , no real reason to do anything other to them on account I had vacancies to accomodate them

    I may regret that later if I forget they are there and then transfer rock about for whatever reason

    What do u guys think of this crab I pulled off my Milleopora it was a white color more of a milky translucent type of shade, sorry for the darkness of the photo... Thanks guys
