Crazy Goby

So I just picked up a pink / blue spotted Goby. He's rather large I'd say almost five inches in length. He's crazy! Psycho even-he eye balls me! Really, he won't be scared just sits there no matter how close I get to the tank. He just looks at me. Then I find him rubbing his face up and down against the glass. By himself while I'm sitting back, not as if I was too close. not sure if this is healthy behavior or not. He does let my cleaner shrimp clean him which is sweet. Doesn't sift sand as much as I'd have expected. Any comments?

did you answer your own question? lol my goby stares me down too but hes smaller...much smaller and different species

 

I just can't get over how strange and how much personality this fish has.

 

So my rather large goby lets my rather large cleaner shrimp clean him. It's so cool. I know they pair nicely with pistols the tiny kind but my shrimp is large and sits on him. It's awesome. Glad someone will finally let him close lol. My clowns are afraid of him. Goby-perhaps the coolest fish ever!
