    I posted these pictures in my build thread for future tracking but was hoping someone could help me ID this coral. I believe it is some sort of xenia the picture was taken without flash under a 50/50 T8 bulb.

    Also being new to SW I believe these purple sptos to be coralline algae. They are not encrusting at least not yet but do not rub off without being scraped with another rock. They are startign to pop on on multiple rocks all over the tank.

    Yes definitely Xenia. And it does look like the beginning of Coralline algae.;D

    Thanks, any idea what sort of xenia? I know anthelia and xenia are very similiar and am not sure exactly what it is I purchased.
