So I have a dilema. I picked up a custom 220 as part of a break down. The front glass is mint. The sides are good condition but 2 spots have some etching from where they let corals grow.

To move and set up the new tank is a ton of work.

So this last weekend I saw a DSA 225 pro. Jaw drop. I love it. I ove the size it is 27.5 wide and 27.5 high. love it.

I was building a custom stand anyway and have enough wood to compensate for the extra width as the 220 has a coast to coast overflow on the back.

I feel to go through w the upgrade I should do it right the first time.

I still have all the rock, lights and wave makers so won't have that exspense. I can sell the sea swirls as I won't need them and sure I can sell the tank.

I think I just answered myself....

Get what you love. If you build for the one you have now, you'll just regret it.

Yes I agree. Even if it takes longer. I just listed the tank local and the seaswirls. Still got some great stuff for my upgrade from the breakdown I bought.

Well I listed my tank on CL and already sold the seaswirls. I emailed 2 companies that have the tank to get freight quotes and reached out to my buddy to see if he can get me a deal on the tank.

I'm gonna go by the local store and see if they will do a cash and carry on just the tank.
