I just went to set my daytime lights to stay on a little longer and the plastic cover holding the timer is just broke and the timer got pushed into the light housing. Has this happened to anyone else its only 8 months old!

Also has anyone had to deal with current usa with warranty issues? how do they handle things?

i have that light. my timer is solid. it is a bit over a year old I think.

Where did you buy it? You might have a 1 year warranty through that place and they might be willing to swap it out for you???

I bought mine through Pet Mountain and bc of a different issue, I had to have it replaced and Pet Mountain was very easy and friendly about the whole ordeal...

    hope some of that helps.

Mine actually arrived damaged - one of the timers was broken. They were excellent - They sent me a replacement immediately and sent a prepaid shipping label to ship the broken one back in the original box. I can't speak for warranty service - hopefully their customer service for warranty issues is also excellent! Definitely give them a call.

I bought it from marineandreef.com I talked with them and they want me to ship them my light and they will try and fix it. they told me to contact current I sent an e-mail and Im about to leave a voicemail. Im really a fan of shipping my light to Arizona and be lightless for a week or 2.

Well, duh, Peredhil - I'm not even thinking here ;) - I bought mine from www.marineandreef.com - I guess THEY had the excellent customer service. I've had it since November with no problems other than the initial shipping damage.

I got mine from the same place (see above post). Maybe you could talk them into sending a temporary replacement??

They pawned me off to call current-usa. Marineandreef.com were super nice when i bought the lights. I originally ordered the NOVA extreme and they were out of stock so they upgraded me to sundials for free.:thumbs_up

I will see what current usa has to say since they do not offer the timer as a replacement part.
