Anyone have a good idea for a saw to cut through live rock? I was thinking potentially a saw for cutting tile would work. Anyone ever try a Sawzall?

Noy sure on a sawzall, but I have seen it done with a wet saw (a tile saw ) before. The wet saw is nice because it is wet cutting and not dry. IMO you get a finner cut. The only problem is how tall the rock is in relation to the blade on the wet saw. You can lay the rock on it's side to compensate for this.

Hammer and cold chisel is another option.

I've used the tile saw (diamond blade) when I wanted the rock to sit flat. However a hammer and chisel will give you a more natural look instead of a smooth, straight cut. I've used both.

NOTE: If ou're not experienced with a tile saw, make sure the rock is sitting firm before you cut and make sure you're wearing safety goggles

So the tile saw it is. I need a clean cut so a hammer and chisel won't work.
