    well i was thinking of putting some rock and sand in the 20gal and 30 gallon for the grow out tanks u think that would do the trick mike

    That sounds like it should work well. The rock in those tanks will get the cycle going for you. Im amazed how fast you are moving on this project. Talk about a man on a mission. Cant wait to see your set up going. Maybe one day Ill have you ship me a clown.

    i hope so to mike am planning everything down will be posting pics very soon to show u how it goes.
    would you suggest anything else that im missing as i think i have all things but unsure lol

    Only thing I was curious about is how you will keep the fry out of the overflow. Iv never even considered breeding before Im sure this is something you already thought of. Oh and what about an auto top off. Im sure constant salinity is important for breeding.

    Those look like they should work. No need for huge lighting anyway. Does live rock stay live without good lighting? Always wondered that.

    same here im sure it will as im only putting like 3 pieces in each tank, how does the top-up system work as i no some people have them, i was just gonna do water changes every so often for the 3 tanks as i no i need to do them every other day so water should be fine

    so are you setting up like a breeding system for fish then selling them online?
    are you doing coarls too?

    Its just basically a fresh water reservore. The top off it a float in your sump. when the float gets too low it turns the power on to a pump in your fresh water reservore pumping fresh water in to replace whats evaporated. If you will be changing water every other day then it shouldnt matter much.

    will be getting into corals and inverts i think at a later date but for now will be doing clowns, then move up, and got a buyer already at my lfs, he said he will take the lot from me half for cash and half for store credit, but i can do online sales aswell thats once im established
