    i figured i'd show off my daughters 10 gallon with 10 gallon sump.its maybe 18 months old with mostly mushrooms.the display has a sunpaq 40 watt pc 50/50 retro and the sump has a 28 watt 50/50 pc coralife fixture.i used a quietone sump pump.in the sump is a plenum and chaetto.there is no need for a skimmer on this size tank.i replaced the bottom glass pain with half inch acrylic and drilled for overflow and return.

    that macro is halemeda.there is never a spec of algae but the halemeda has to be weeded out often.she is so picky about her corals it drives me nuts at the reef store.thats why there is'nt more corals in her tank.she wants a bunch of sexy shrimp next.
